Welcome to Point Road School's Health Office!
We Strive for Healthy Learners!
DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD TO SCHOOL SICK!
A fever of 100 degrees or higher, without fever reducing medicine, and vomiting or diarrhea are signs of illness. Please do not send your child until 24 hours after their vomiting, diarrhea or fever has resolved. A note from your health care professional is required after an absence of 3 or more days. A child who has a communicable illness requires a note from your health care professional to return to school.

Sleep is important!
- Healthy learners ages 3 to 10 need about 10 to 12 hours sleep. Please send your healthy learner to school well rested.
- Healthy Learners mean a healthy breakfast! Serve foods high in protein and low in fats and sugars! Stop by the health office for healthy recipe ideas.
- The best way to control the spread of lice is to report it to the nurse immediately.
- All medication (both prescription and OTC) must be accompanied by a doctor's note and must be in the original package (prescription label for prescription medications). Please download the Medication Permission Form here:
